Summary of Essential Duties: Payroll Department
- Ensuring the accuracy of the preliminary and final time cards for non-exempt employees
- Funds distribution
- Payroll deductions
- Responding promptly to inquiries for data and reports
- Providing timely and accurate payroll processing
- Maintaining payroll records
- Assist in resolving payroll issues and provide outstanding service to all employees
- Assist with the verification of employment process.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Assist with audits and provide necessary payroll documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax forms
- Calculate pay correctly based on hire date, termination date, and leave of absence dates
- Coordinate with HR to request benefit payments from employees on leave
- Coordinate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate data flow
- Ensure all tax withholding accounts in relevant jurisdictions are established and maintained
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
