Core Responsibilities:
- Communicates and works with the respective department personnel to ensure critical parts are expedited through the required processes.
- Support shop floor planning in the movement of parts from one work center to another.
- Review system requirements and plan part flow accordingly.
- Support stores, operations and shipping.
- Provide delivery promises, expedite tool repairs and ascertain availability of material, on as-needed basis.
- Expedite outside processing (OSP).
- Maintains positive working relationships.
- Perform all other similar and/or related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing environment with material handling experience, preferably for an aerospace organization.
- Forklift licensed with experience using a hand forklift and crane.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move parts throughout plant.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software program. Ability to be trained in usage of manufacturing applications.
- Excellent responsiveness and customer focus
Education Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
