And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Job overview and responsibilities
The Pricing and Revenue Management Program offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement plans that generate incremental revenue for a unique set of nonstop flights. Associate Analysts are placed into either Pricing or Revenue Management:
Pricing – Defines price points based off customer’s willingness to pay and the competition
Revenue Management – Forecasts customer demand and sets overbooking levels
- Analyze trends in bookings, revenue and market dynamics
- Assess and segment customers based on market conditions
- Defines market conditions including competitive positioning
- Develops demand forecast
- Analyzes current and historical trends to determine appropriate inventory levels that maximize revenue
- Communicate regularly with Field Services regarding peak/holiday operational issues
- Conduct thorough post analysis of various revenue optimizing tests
- Provide effective and structured coaching/mentoring for developing new analysts
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years of equivalent experience
- Track record of outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to apply quantitative skills and business acumen to airline industry
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Masters Degree
- Work experience in airline Pricing/Revenue Management/Network Planning a plus
The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
