TASK DESCRIPTION:
    This position is located in the KAF O-Level Maintenance Activity at AAJB to provide installation, operation, maintenance, modification and repair of the F/A-18 weapons systems.
   
TASK REQUIREMENTS:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing on the ARC-210 / Gen 5 (voice & data) (2) Radio, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA)APG-79, Weapons Control/ Electronics Counter Measures/ Communications & Navigation systems of the F/A-18 aircraft. This includes the Maintenance Status Display Recording System, Weapons Control System, Mission Computer System, Sniper (Forward Looking Infra-Red (FLIR)), Multipurpose Display Group, Tactical Electronic Warfare System (TEWS), Photographic System, ALQ-214A(V)4 Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), ALR-67G(V)3.   
- Participate as part of the Integrated Weapons Team in performing weapons control checks and testing.   
- Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel.
   
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have completed F/A-18 Avionics course.   
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience on F/A-18 aircraft in one (1) or more of the following specialties: Radio Detection and Ranging (RADAR), ECM and communication navigation systems.
- Ability to operate ECM test equipment is desirable.   
- Proficient with VIDS/MAFs documentation and all applicable technical publications.   
- A US Secret security clearance is required.
