JOB TITLE:  F-18 Electrical Technician
 LOCATION: New Orleans, LA
 PAY RATE: Up to $43/hour

Summary:  
  Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft avionics, electrical, and associated systems.
 Perform daily, pre/post-flight, turnaround, launch, and recovery inspections, including plane captain duties.
 Assemble/disassemble, modify, and configure aerospace systems, components, and test equipment.
 Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; perform corrective actions.
 Conduct validation/verification testing and ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety standards.
 Document work, inspections, and modifications; verify flight worthiness.
 Mentor/train junior personnel as required.
 Prioritize safety, quality, and compliance in all tasks.
 
Requirements:
  Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Interim or Final post-start).
 High School diploma/GED and 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent (vocational school/Associate + 2 years, Bachelor   s, etc.).
 Minimum 5 years of military fighter aircraft maintenance experience.
 Minimum 1 year of experience interpreting technical publications, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and schematics.
 Must be able to lift 35 lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noise/exhaust fumes.
 PPE required: steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, high-visibility jacket, hard hat.
 Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
