Join a highly skilled team developing state-of-the-art Cyber/Information Assurance systems for Submarine   Fire Control Systems. This role focuses on test, evaluation, and design verification to ensure compliance with functional and technical requirements for mission-critical systems.
   
Responsibilities:
 - Analyze requirements to design and document validation methods 
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and report. 
- Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V) for software, hardware, and firmware changes 
- Support informal and formal test events in lab and operational environments 
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects with engineering teams 
- Configure test labs per design documentation and port maps 
- Install, verify, and troubleshoot IA software at lab and shipboard locations 
- Test network configurations, protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption), and system interfaces 
- Operate in fast-paced, integrated DoD product development teams 
- Assemble and test computer hardware as needed 
   
Qualifications:
 - U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience (4+ years) 
- Experience: 5+ years relevant experience (or Master’s + 3 years) 
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire 
- Required Skills/Experience: -    - Navy submarine or surface combat systems background (Fire Control Technician (FT), Sonar Technician (ST), Electronics Technician (ET), or Information Systems Technician (IT)) 
- 5+ years with AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, AN/BLQ-10, or similar systems 
- Software testing, defect analysis, and requirements validation 
- Networking fundamentals (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption) 
- Basic Linux command-line proficiency 
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 - Experience with Strike Software (TTWCS, TCIP, MDS) 
- Test equipment assembly and troubleshooting
