PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace innovator to hire an experienced Electrical/Electronic Equipment Engineer in Berkeley, MO. Your ImpactAs an Electrical/Electronic Equipment Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and testing the electrical systems that power advanced aerospace products. From harness fabrication to system-level testing, your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability, safety, and performance of mission-critical equipment.
This is a 12-month full-time consultant opportunity offering starting at $32.10 per hour, working Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (First Shift) in Berkeley, MO.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will take ownership of both hands-on builds and structured test execution, including:
Independently building harnesses, cables, electrical chassis, hubs, and electronic racks
Planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes
Designing, fabricating, building, and analyzing test systems, components, and methodologies
Coordinating test requirements and determining appropriate test methods and capabilities
Supporting system integration activities including fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown
Conducting tests, analyzing data, and documenting detailed results
Participating in test readiness reviews and ensuring systems meet performance standards
Troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related issues
Coordinating laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs
Coaching and training team members while working under general direction
You’ll be at the center of turning engineering concepts into fully tested, flight-ready electrical systems.
Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience building electrical products
Strong hands-on experience building harnesses, cables, chassis, hubs, and electronics racks
Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving lab-related issues
Education typically acquired through advanced education (Associate degree or higher) and 3+ years of related experience, OR a combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s + 1 year, or 5+ years of related work experience)
Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience building electrical products
Experience working in aerospace or other highly regulated industries
Strong background in system integration and structured test documentation
Experience mentoring or training junior team members

Pay Details: $32.10 per hour
