The MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bells MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Armys primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Armys assault capabilities.

The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage in future conflicts. The Bell MV-75 team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world’s next-generation military aircraft.

This position is onsite in Fort Worth.

Avionics Systems Engineers Team, MV-75 Aircraft

Bell’s Avionics Systems Engineers are responsible for the coordination, development, and management of technical requirements for software systems.

Your duties will also include developing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models using the System Modeling Language (SysML) with emphasis on system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and performance to describe and analyze complex systems and software.

What you’ll be doing as an Entry Level Systems Engineer (MBSE):

  • Develop architecture models for software components.
  • Write high level requirements for software components.
  • Perform SysML Modeling in MagicDraw/Cameo.
  • Generate system functional requirements from stakeholder expectation.
  • Validate and verify system requirements.
  • Develop test cases to verify the system under test.
  • Coordinate with Internal and External teams, suppliers, and peers to generate and execute project/design plans and reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues.
  • Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports, and change requests to closure.
  • Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security, and Certification organizations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.
  • Escalate issues that need additional engineering or business leadership assistance in a timely manner.

    NOTE: This role does not do software development or software coding. Aircraft Systems Engineering is not Information Technology Systems Engineering.
Job Requirements:

What You Will Need to be Successful:

· Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software, or Systems Engineering. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered. Degree must be completed prior to June 2025.

· 0-2 years of relevant experience

· Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

What will make you stand out: (If you have this experience, please indicate it by including in a cover letter please)

· Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.

· Experience developing models using Dassault Systemes Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) conforming to SysML or UML.

· System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.

· The ability to work effectively within a team and drive tasks to closure that are high in quality and technically accurate.

NOTE: This role does not do software development or software coding. Aircraft Systems Engineering is not Information Technology Systems Engineering.
