Job Title: Inspector
Job DescriptionThis role is ideal for early-career inspectors who will be tasked with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches. Inspectors will verify that manufactured hardware complies with specified requirements, make acceptance decisions, and document nonconformance reports and inspection tags. The role requires physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending. Inspectors will interface with on-site customer representatives through product sell-off and acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and complex wiring diagrams.
- Verify manufactured hardware compliance with requirements.
- Document and fill out nonconformance reports and inspection tags.
- Interface with on-site customer representatives during product sell-off and acceptance.
- Enforce compliance to process and procedures throughout production to ensure conforming product delivery.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in inspecting or 3-5 years in building/assembling mechanical and electrical products.
- Ability to receive and hold a secret-level security clearance.
- Experience with Solumina and Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Good communication skills.
- IPC-610 and 620 or J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience presenting products to customers for inspection.
- Build experience in a production environment, working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.

Work Environment
Work in a structured environment with 4/10 hour shifts. Opportunities are available for both first and second shifts: 1st shift is Monday-Thursday from approximately 7AM-5PM, and 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday from approximately 5PM-3AM. Candidates should specify their shift preference.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
