Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum Experience
- 10+ years of experience leading Test Automation teams, more than one at a time for at least 2 years.
- 10-15 years of hands-on experience working with object-oriented-languages (JavaScript strongly preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in a Scrum/XP software development role.
- 5 + years of hands-on manual testing and validation of custom applications.
- 5+ years in Mobile Application Automation testing (e.g. Appium).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Expert in functional and non-functional test automation
- Expert in test data generation and management
- Significant experience using and coaching Behavior Driven Development practices
- Fluent in Scrum Practices, could easily act as a scrum master and author user stories with GHERKIN with acceptance criteria
- Practitioner of Agile Methodologies, eXtreme Programming, Software Craftsmanship, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Domain Driven Design
- Experience in Tech Stacks under management: xUnit, advanced Test Automation frameworks, Nodejs, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, .Net, etc.
- Familiar with Test Driven Development and related practices, knows to “keep the campground clean,”
- Ability to drive transformational change in an emergent agile culture
- Secure coder familiar with common standards such as NIST SP 800-171
- Understands how to leverage static and dynamic code scanning results
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
