What does the role look like?
The position is based in Luserna S. Giovanni (TO) and will directly report to the Product Quality Manager and, within his/her role, the candidate will be in charge of managing the Turin and Luserna Product Quality activities for specific Programs, interacting directly with internal and external Customers.
The focus of this position is to work closely with Production Cells to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts, minimizing waste and disruption to the Production flow and protect the Customer. The candidate will manage Customer Escapes, relevant Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
He/She will even manage Product Audit activity, First Article Inspection process and QN/MRB management.
He/She will support also the contract review process, with the objective to ensure that Customer requirements are properly discussed and addressed.
What will you bring to the role?
- Capability to work autonomously and to coordinate interfunctional Teams as needed (strong communication and influential skills).
- Proven experience in Aeronautical Companies for at least 3 years
- Strong capability to lead Root Cause Analysis processes, using adequate tools (5 WHYs, Fishbone, Fault Tree);
- Understanding of mechanical Design, part drawings and Technical Specifications
- Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing plus Assembly & Testing processes
- Able to support Material Review Board and QN processes
- Plus is knowledge of Special Processes management (Heat Treatments, NDT, Galvanic);
- FAI knowledge
- Approved Auditor
- Knowledge of EASA Part 21 – Part 145 and related activities (DO-PO Arrangement, SADD), experience with Airworthiness Authorities relationship (ENAC, FAA)

Desirable skills:
- PPAP knowledge, good understanding of Statistical Process Control
- EN9100 40h Auditor training (or equivalent)
Education:
- Engineering degree (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred)
- Microsoft Office Tools capability
Languages:
- Fluent English, French is a plus
Travels:
- Available to national / international travels
