We are looking for experienced Software Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer.
The Software Engineer will support the team in the following activities (including but not limited to):
- Use customer tools (i.e., AppDynamics, ServiceNow) to develop and maintain dashboards that display useful system monitoring information for leadership and end users
- Develop, test and deploy updates to ServiceNow based on customer requirements
- Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
- Provide guidance to end users on how to make adjustments to system dashboards
- Use experience and data trends to determine what system monitoring information/metrics should be collected and displayed to add value to the end user
- Use experience with customer’s monitoring tools and knowledge of customer’s strategic objectives to identify areas of improvement and recommend implementation plans
- Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
- Participate in in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections
- Interact with customers for support and services
- Research, understand, and develop using new technologies and standards as needed
- Handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
