Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr Staff Systems Engineer to support the development of a Space RADAR Payload which includes an Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) antenna and processor for a Protype and a production Space program.
This position is on-site in Linthicum, MD in a closed program area, SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility).
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 14 years relevant experience or 12 years with MS
People and Technical leadership, including planning and execution, staffing, setting expectations, tasking, and measuring and reporting progress
Requirements Management and flow-down
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of Space experience in design, systems engineering, I&T (Integration and Test), and/or on-orbit operation
Salary Range: $179,600.00 - $269,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
