In this role, you will impact product reliability and customer satisfaction by identifying quality issues early, supporting root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions that improve manufacturing and engineering processes.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality inspections and testing of products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues identified during production or testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement in quality processes and product reliability.
- Perform and lead incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Utilize precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supplier Quality teams
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Support production team in day-to-day activities.
- Validate when defective material is reported by production team.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality engineering or quality technician roles
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality assurance methodologies
- Proficiency with quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced degrees in Engineering or Quality Management
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace quality environments
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Experience with precision measuring equipment
