Summary:
Design and develop scalable software solutions by analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes
Investigate, define, and solve complex problems within the software lifecycle
Create clear and thorough technical documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts
Evaluate system feasibility and performance through comprehensive systems analysis
Prepare, install, and maintain system specifications, standards, and codebase
Recommend operational improvements through process and policy evaluation
Continuously update technical knowledge through research, courses, and professional engagement
Safeguard system and user data by adhering to security best practices
Gather and analyze data to resolve service issues and improve performance
Mentor and support junior engineers through coaching and knowledge-sharing
Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred)
6 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle development and modern programming tools
Proficient in two or more development languages (Java and .NET preferred; C, Ruby also valuable)
Strong object-oriented programming skills and ability to write clean, testable code
Experience working in Agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban)
Proven ability to influence technical decisions and advocate for software best practices
Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities, including travel to customer sites as needed
Ability to navigate ambiguity and offer solutions from multiple perspectives
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
