Bridge Engineering and Aircraft ReadinessPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist for a high-impact contract role with a leading name in the aerospace industry. In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft maintainability by developing precise maintenance documentation and influencing product support strategies. This is an opportunity to put your analytical and technical writing skills to work on complex aerospace systems that support global operations.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What Youll DoAs a Support Engineering Data Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing Technical Data: Interpret engineering drawings, reliability data, and logistics inputs to develop and refine aircraft maintenance procedures.
Creating and Maintaining Documentation: Write and update technical manuals and instructions for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems and components.
Conducting Repair and Maintenance Task Analysis: Evaluate maintenance requirements and develop support documentation in compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
Reviewing and Reporting: Assess logistics support analysis records and contribute to continued airworthiness documentation.
Workflow Tracking: Use internal workflow management tools to monitor project status and ensure timely task completion.
Improving Maintainability: Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure products are designed for efficient maintenance and long-term support.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:Experience interpreting engineering drawings using REDARS or similar tools
2+ years of experience in:
Experience with Slicwave or other logistics analysis tools
Strong understanding of maintenance documentation development
Education: Bachelors degree with 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s + 4 years, or 10+ years of direct experience)
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CSDT or CM Pro
Experience reviewing logistics support analysis reports
Background in creating initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness

Pay Details: $44.23 to $55.52 per hour
