Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Systems Designer for Flight Control System (f/m/d)to support the &34;Digital Flight Control Systems&34; department.
The &34;Digital Flight Control Systems&34; department at Airbus Defence & Space is in charge of Requirements Definition, System Design, Qualification and Certification for safety critical systems of manned and unmanned air vehicles.
We are an international team working on innovative solutions to ensure that our weapon systems remain competitive and capable in a constantly evolving environment.
We are looking for support to our international team as a Systems Designer (f/m/d) to ensure the development of the Flight Control System (FCS) architecture and design of various products like the EuroDrone RPAS (Remotely Piloted Air System), Eurofighter, FCAS or Tornado.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Definition and Design of the Flight Control System (FCS) architecture
Definition of FCS redundancy management design and functions
Failure identification and isolation
L2/L3 Requirement definition and validation
Support interface definition of interfacing systems and equipment
Ensure requirement traceability and coverage
Support L2/L3 system test activity
Desired Skills and Qualifications
University degree in Aerospace-/Software Engineering or comparable studies
Experience in Flight Control/Flight Management System
Experience in Requirements Engineering, particulary with DOORs
Experience in System Design and Development
Experience in Model Based System Engineering (e.g. SCADE, Cameo) would be beneficial
Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) principles is highly valued
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, showing a great team spirit
Fluent in English
