Job Description
A vacancy has arisen on the FAL A330 MRTT for a Production Engineer specialized in A/C Disassembly, System Installation and Functional Test.
The successful applicants will join FAL Management Area 2 (AG2) TAOTT department, reportingindistinctly to the different HO´s of AG2.

Task&accountabilities
 
The jobholder will be responsible of the A/C conversion assigned by the Head Of the A/C zone.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
 Management multifunctional teams to achieve the delivery goals without pending works
(Integration of all functions assigned: Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning,
Production Control, etc) working under two different regulations: EASA145 and POA standards.
 Management of a diverse team of Airbus shopfloor managers, electrician, mechanical andmaintenance &testing technicians as well as several subcontractors’ companies working in the
same A/C zone.
 Ensure a proper workload-capacity with right competencies.
 Ensure that Health & Safety, Quality, FOD, DIM and House Keeping standards are known and followed by all stakeholders working on his/her area of responsibility.
 Ensure the implementation of the strategy and objectives of AG2.
 Ensure coordination within the different TOFTT´s Organizations to reach AG2 objectives.
 Ensure the continuous improvement and the Operational Excellence in the area.
 Guarantee VOC communication in the area promoting actions to improve customer satisfaction.
 Lead the cultural transformation towards a more efficient organization.
 Ensure that you are a reference in your area in terms of team engagement, energy, values and ethics&compliance.
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and proven experience and training:
 Educated to bachelor or master degree level in Engineering, aeronautical or industrial shall be considered.
 At least three years of experience in Production, Manufacturing Engineering or Electrical Design is required.
 A330 MRTT production or manufacturing engineering/design experience in conversion, disassembly/assembly, refurbishing and functional test processes will be highly valued.
 AIRBUS A330 training course will be an asset.
 Organization and supervision of production groups, including supporting functions and subcontracted companies.
 Implement continuous improvement methods to reduce costs and lead time.
 Management and resolution of conflicts.
 Innovation and digitalization as well as continuous improvement.
 Management of all qualifications of personnel and facilities required from Airworthiness
Authorities, both civil and military, EASA, PERAM.
 Language skills: English and Spanish in Advanced level.
