Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO! The successful candidate will support Proprietary efforts in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Phantom Works Supply Chain organization.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options, in and outside of the program space.
Position Responsibilities (Level 3):
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
General understanding/ability/knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations. General knowledge of regulation, company and local policies, procedures and regulations
Position Responsibilities (Level 4):
- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
- Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
- Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
3+ years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Summary pay range:
Experienced (Level 3) $74,800 – $92,400
Senior (Level 4) $95,200 – $117,600
