Job Title: Logistic CoordinatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent Logistic Coordinator to assist with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. The role involves supporting routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. You will also learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
Responsibilities- Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals.
- Coordinate shipping logistics and maintain records of equipment, components, and repair parts.
- Track logistics materials and parts to ensure proper allocation in storage facilities.
- Learn and comply with state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
- Perform cycle counts and parts picking with RF units.
- Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy, or dangerous equipment.
- Inspect, handle, or transport explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials.
- Perform aviation-related duties and inspect structures, equipment, or vehicles.
Essential Skills- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Exposure to inventory databases.
- Familiarity with Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.
- HazMat Training/Certification.
- Ability to operate a Forklift.
- Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.
- Understanding of Shelf Life.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military preferred.
- Must be eligible for secret clearance.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with SAP/ERP software.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, parts, materials, distribution, stocking, and pulling parts.
- Ability to assemble kits.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a warehouse and hangar environment, handling aircraft components, parts, and kits. The position requires flexibility in shifts based on the hangars schedule. Standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, you may be exposed to outdoor elements, loud noises, and rarely to fumes or hazardous chemicals.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
