Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is a diversified worldwide aircraft charter and leasing operation. The KBAMaintenance team is currently seeking an individual for the Stores Department. The position of Stores Expeditor is responsible for the movement, stocking, issuing, base transfers, and returns of aircraft parts, tooling, and equipment in a deadline-driven environment. As a member of the Stores Department team, this person ensures that all parts are accounted for and stored accurately.
- Pick, issue, receive, sign for, stock, inspect and organize the aircraft maintenance related parts, material, and equipment
- Performs administrative functions associated with processing aircraft parts and company supplies
- Conduct inventory cycle counts on regular basis and investigate to reconcile any discrepancies
- Ensure proper handling of the aircraft parts during transactions, shipping and receiving to avoid damage or operational delays
- Maintain records of requisitions; receive and issue materials/parts according to the requisitions submitted
- Enter all inventory transactions along with repairs’ ETA into the inventory management system to maintain accurate inventory records
- Provide coverage when other staff members are away because of training, outreach, or vacation leave
- Deliver and pick-up parts from local vendors/shops, if required
- Loading and unloading of freight from various means of transportation
- Ensures proper handling of calibrated equipment and entries into the database.
- Maintain a well-organized receiving area, constantly knowing where all the parts are being stored to assist in retrieval
- Perform and complete other duties assigned by the Material Department Manager
