Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job Description
As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform heavy structural repairs, maintenance, and modifications on F/A-18 aircraft, contributing to the enhancement and longevity of these advanced fighter jets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct heavy structural repairs and maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft.
- Perform depot level maintenance and modifications.
- Execute sheet-metal modifications and structural repairs.
- Address corrosion issues and implement necessary solutions.
- Work on aircraft modifications to upgrade to 5th generation fighters.
Essential Skills
- 3 - 8+ years of recent experience in depot-level/heavy checks on aircraft.
- Proficiency in equipment overhauls and modifications.
- Experience with military jets, specifically F/A-18 or similar fighter jets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Navy, Air Force, or Marine aircraft.
- Familiarity with Boeing and similar aviation environments.

Work Environment
Work in an open-bay, non-climate controlled environment with shifts available as follows: 1st Shift from 5:30am to 2:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, with optional overtime. Flexibility to work any shift is required. An annual expense of $100 for steel-toed shoes is provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
