Stew's Aero is seeking a seasoned Director of Maintenance (DOM) to lead the strategic and operational management of our Part 145 repair station located at the Carson City Airport (KCXP). The DOM ensures all maintenance activities meet FAA regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards, and Stew's Aero commitment to operational excellence, safety, and client service. This leadership role will manage maintenance personnel, vendors, and technical programs while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

- Provide oversight of all aircraft maintenance programs under Part 145 operations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, internal policies, and manufacturer maintenance programs.
- Supervise and support a team of A&P Mechanics and Quality Assurance Inspectors.
- Coordinate closely with the Chief Inspector to maintain a compliant, well-documented inspection program.
- Oversee maintenance scheduling, inspection tracking, repairs, and airworthiness modifications.
- Align maintenance operations with flight schedules and owner expectations
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual and quality standards.
- Oversee technical records, reliability programs, and maintenance tracking systems.
- Lead team development through coaching, hiring, training, and performance management.
- Participate in internal audits, safety meetings, and regulatory reviews.
- Serve as FAA liaison for all maintenance-related matters.
