Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and functional tests of aircraft systems and components to ensure airworthiness and compliance prior to delivery.
Verify and inspect routine final component installations, as well as support pre- and post-flight checks, modifications, and rework tasks.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems, documenting any discrepancies or faulty components.
Conduct system and sub-system inspections as part of aircraft maintenance and delivery readiness processes.
Record and report non-conformances and participate in their resolution; generate appropriate documentation (e.g., NCR, EPD).
Assist in planning and scheduling inspection activities with guidance from team leads.
Maintain required certifications and follow established aerospace safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or vocational training preferred.
FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or signed FAA Form 8610-2 is required.
Typically 4+ years of related work experience (Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing).
3+ years of quality inspection and/or auditing experience.
3+ years of flight line operations experience.
3+ years of experience working in team environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on the 787 Program.
Familiarity with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) risk mitigation practices.
Experience with REDARS, PSDS, and Boeing BAC specifications.
Skilled in generating all types of Non-Conformance Records (NC/NCR, RGEN, PU, SAT, SRR, etc.).
Prior team leadership or mentoring experience, formal or informal.
