Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting abilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with metal‑working machinery, CNC equipment, and machine‑shop systems. This role requires a problem‑solver with excellent communication skills who can work effectively as part of a team.

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on metal‑working machinery, CNC machines, and machine‑shop equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues using PLC controls, including Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
• Work with DC controls and AC systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
• Perform basic wiring and motor control circuit troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Utilize strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to minimize equipment downtime.
• Complete work orders, document repairs, and use required computer‑based systems for reporting.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across departments.

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, including:
  • 1+ year of PLC experience
  • Hands‑on work with metal‑working, CNC, or machine‑shop equipment
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens controls
• General knowledge of:
  • DC controls
  • AC 24V–480V
  • Basic wiring
  • Motor control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Computer skills required
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
