POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking Helicopter Mechanics to perform phase maintenance and PMI's (phase maintenance Inspections on UH-60 aircraft in support of an FMS (Foreign Military Sales) government program.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on UH60 helicopters in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform necessary component replacements, repairs, and modifications as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented, including work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- UH-60 experience required (S-70), other helicopter experience is a plus
- Previous PMI-1/2 (Phase Maintenance Inspection) experience is required.
- Solid understanding of UH60 helicopter systems and components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification is not required but is advantageous.
- Ability to forgo a pre-employment standard DOT drug test, criminal background check, and basic health physical.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Proof of US citizenship.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- MUST have basic tools/box.
PAY & SCHEDULE
- Hourly based off of experience
- OT time and a half
- SPLIT per diem available to those that qualify
- Paid weekly after first week
- OT as needed
