Job Summary

The Product Delivery Manager, Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the design, test, implementation, management, and maintenance of NAV CANADA’s cloud landing zone infrastructure, shared services, applications, policies, and strategy. The role involves working collaboratively with other Product Delivery Managers, Product Family Leaders, the Enterprise Architecture team, and with various stakeholders, vendors, and support organizations to ensure the performance, stability, and security of the cloud systems. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and team leadership.

In this role you will:

Product Delivery 

  • Execute and evolve the Product Roadmap that provide solutions to the business with high quality and within budget. 
  • Refine and maintain the enterprise‑aligned cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring it continues to support NAV CANADA’s technology direction and is consistent with enterprise priorities. 
  • Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending enhancements and innovations that strengthen product performance, resilience, and value. 
  • Oversee the ongoing design and optimization of cloud-based architectures, advancing scalability, reliability, security, and performance as solutions evolve. 
  • Drive deployment and adoption of product releases with the impacted business teams. 
  • Proactively monitor, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and operational reliability. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Technology teams to uphold, improve, and maintain cloud governance.  
  • Provide effective product support to ensure a high degree of end user satisfaction. 
  • Maintain and strengthen control frameworks on production systems and ensure new systems meet internal compliance requirements. 
  • Contribute to and follow a consistent product delivery framework and associated controls. 
  • Maintain comprehensive and current documentation for cloud configurations, standard operational procedures, and product changes. 
  • Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance, usage, and costs. 
  • Maintain effective and positive relationships with product vendors and service partners that are involved in product delivery. 
  • Collaborate effectively with the Project Delivery Services organization and other Product Families to deliver consistent and integrated solutions. 

People Leadership & Management 

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and positive leadership of the Product Delivery team to maintain a healthy and productive workplace. 
  • Work effectively and in a highly collaborative fashion with other teams in NAV CANADA’s Technology Infrastructure organization. 
  • Delegate effectively and monitor progress to achieve expected results. 
  • Be accountable and responsible for a team of professionals working through technical leads and specialists. 
  • Manage delegated portion of the AVP/Director’s budget by. 
  • Ensure the responsible use of all resources and assets for the benefit of NAV CANADA; manage operating and capital expenditures in line with applicable budgets and approvals, and in accordance with stated company and Technology Infrastructure objectives and priorities. 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or information Technology.  
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the delivery of information technology solutions. 
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, including public and private clouds, virtual machines, and software as a service.  
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).  
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Excellent understanding of network and security concepts. 
  • Certifications in cloud technologies is an asset. (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) 
  • Proven experience (3&43; years) in cloud infrastructure management, with expertise in Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms. 
  • 3&43; years of experience as a delivery manager .
  • 3&43; years of experience managing people in a business or information technology environment.

  • Strong change management skills applied to dealing with rapid and iterative changes, and the associated ambiguity.  

Working Conditions:

  • Availability for on-call support may be necessary in case of critical incidents. 
  • Travel is required less than 10 of the time. 
  • This position is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
