Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an independent, energetic and experienced candidate to fill a critical multi-disciplined organizational leadership role in Denver, Colorado. Selected candidate will function as the Central Region Security Manager for the Facilities & Asset Protection (F&AP) team. The Regional Security Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of all elements of the F&AP organization at all Lockheed Martin Space locations in the United States’ Central Region. Oversight disciplines include day-to-day security operations with respect to: Physical and Technical security measures, Badging and Access Control, leadership of proprietary and contract security personnel; including force protection, fire compliance, emergency response, crisis management, executive and special event protection, and regulatory compliance.

Key job responsibilities

• Deliver organizational leadership support to a multi-functional team of LM employees and security contractors.
• Manage day-to-day security operations for a diverse portfolio of sites and customers with unique requirements.
• Implement security plans, policies, and programs in support of the team and organizational goals.
• Support executive protection and special event security details
• Liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement, emergency management agencies, and fire & rescue departments
• Coordinate security incident response.
• Monitor the external threat environments in the defined area and take measures to minimize security risk to the business.
• Successfully align F&AP metrics, goals, and strategic direction across the area of responsibility to support overall team mission.
• Earn trust through key customer and stakeholder engagements, and liaison with external partners.
• Be the trusted security advisor and subject matter expert in the assigned area of responsibility, through high quality communication and excellent briefing skills.
• Communicate accurately and in a timely manner with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain close relationships with peers across the various LM Space enterprise security functions.
• Collaborate with corporate entities on special projects, working groups, and key initiatives.

Must successfully pass psychological screening.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior Government or Private Sector security experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance/access level and Polygraph.
- Thorough knowledge of Security principals and Facility Security policies and practices.
- Understanding of NFPA code requirements, FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) & Incident Command System (ICS), NISPOM, & ICD.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Experience working with and briefing stakeholders.

- Knowledge of classified program protection requirements, processes, and policies.
- DoD and IC customer experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,500 - $177,215. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
