Purpose of the position

As we expand our operations and elevate our customer and employee experience, we are looking for a Team Lead Real Estate Management to help steer our infrastructure transformation from the ground up.

From delivering a state-of-the-art Crew Center to reimagining the facilities that enable the maintenance of our growing and modernizing aircraft fleet, our real estate portfolio and projects are key pillars of Brussels Airlines’ long-term strategy. You’ll be at the helm of real estate delivery in the Brussels region and in outstations in Africa —balancing day-to-day operations with long-range vision, ensuring our buildings meet operational excellence, sustainability goals, and the needs of a modern airline.

As a strategic leader within our Procurement & Infrastructure division, you’ll oversee everything from leases and right-to-use agreements to complex new builds and technical facility upgrades, working hand-in-hand with Group Lufthansa and our airport partners. Together, we’ll craft smart, resilient, and future-ready solutions.

What you’ll lead

• End-to-end real estate project delivery: from design to commissioning.
• Oversight of a 20M+ real estate portfolio.
• Facilities operations across maintenance, administrative, and passenger-facing buildings.
• Contracting, lease management, and compliance alignment.
• Stakeholder engagement with airport authorities, service providers, and internal business units.

Your profile

You are an experienced real estate leader who brings both vision and precision. With 10+ years of expertise in real estate and facility management—ideally in complex, operational environments—you know how to steer strategic investments and translate infrastructure into business impact.

You’re confident navigating a matrix organization, inspiring your team, and driving stakeholder consensus across legal, finance, technical, and operational landscapes.
