Job Title: Inspector
Job DescriptionThis opportunity is designed for early career inspectors who will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches to ensure manufactured hardware meets specified requirements. Inspectors will verify hardware compliance with specifications and decide on its acceptance based on established criteria. You will also be responsible for properly filling out nonconformance reports, inspection tags, and other inspection documents as required. The role demands physical activity, including standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending. You will interface with on-site customer representatives through product sell-off and acceptance processes, while being a vital member of the Product Quality Team to enforce compliance and ensure delivery of conforming products.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and complex wiring diagrams.
- Inspect hardware to verify compliance with specifications.
- Decide on acceptance of hardware based on established criteria.
- Fill out nonconformance reports, inspection tags, and other inspection documents.
- Perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending.
- Interface with on-site customer representatives during product sell-off and acceptance.
- Enforce compliance to processes and procedures throughout production build.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience inspecting or 3-5 years of experience building/assembling mechanical products.
- Ability to receive and hold a secret level security clearance.
- Experience with Solumina and Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Good communication skills.
- IPC-610 and 620 or J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience presenting products to customers for inspection.
- Build experience in the production environment, working closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams.
Work EnvironmentThe position offers a flexible work schedule with 4/10 hour shifts. Applicants can choose between first and second shifts, with first shift running Monday to Thursday from approximately 7 AM to 5 PM, and second shift from approximately 5 PM to 3 AM. Please specify your shift preference on your resume. The role involves collaboration in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality assurance and inspection.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
