Role Summary
* In this role, you will serve as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs in Hazelwood, MO. You will lead IPTs, develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems, ensure production readiness, and drive process improvements across multiple programs. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
* A minimum of 9 years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent with a PhD.
* Experience in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and composite fabrication.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and mitigate production risks.
* Ability to review and approve installation plans, tooling orders, and line stock checks.
* Ability to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO, and follow full-time schedules. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience with composite fabrication.
* Experience supporting defense or aerospace customers.
* Experience with 3D model-based instruction.
* Familiarity with IVT, CREO, CATIA, NX, IPDM Teamcenter, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA.
* Experience with VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D printed parts, Maker Space, Moonshine Shop, ImDev, multi-monitor collaborative rooms, and enterprise gated processes.
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) or CINCOM. Job Duties & Functions

* Lead Integrated Product Teams to analyze product development and producibility.
* Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing plans for airplane subsystems.
* Conduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing capability meets requirements.
* Resolve technical issues and support advanced design solutions.
* Deploy Lean Enterprise analysis methods and document best practices.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on manufacturing processes.
* Participate in design reviews and make manufacturability and assembly decisions. Physical Requirements
