Role Summary
* In this role, you will provide senior-level numerical control programming expertise to support aerospace manufacturing through the development, verification, and implementation of machine control data and machining processes. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
* A minimum of 12 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
* OR a minimum of 10 years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree.
* OR work-related experience with a PhD.
* A degree in a related field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology.
* Ability to work onsite full-time.
* Eligibility to meet U.S. export compliance requirements. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical requirements for numerical control and manufacturing processes.
* Identify equipment and machining approaches to support numerical control programming requirements.
* Resolve manufacturing and production process concerns related to numerical control operations.
* Manage the implementation of new and revised computing applications for design, machining, or inspection systems.
* Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data, geometry, and documentation for multi-axis numerically controlled machines.
* Provide numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to fabrication teams.
* Support aerospace component manufacturing from engineering concept through shop floor execution.
* Train and mentor others under consultative direction.
