PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Quality Production Specialist – Material Review Board to support a leading aerospace client in North Charleston, SC. The Role & Its Impact
As a Quality Production Specialist (Consultant – 6 Months), you will drive the resolution of complex nonconformances and influence engineering and production processes to meet the highest standards of quality. Your work helps maintain the integrity of aerospace components and enhances the performance of systems critical to safety and reliability.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate product nonconformances, dispositions, quality procedures, and engineering requirements
Analyze products, operations, and processes to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, contracts, and regulations
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
Review and approve quality planning and nonconforming hardware dispositions
Provide technical guidance for corrective action validation, configuration management, and software process development
Create analytical reports and guide quality assurance teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure continuous improvement in quality and compliance
Mentor peers on MRB practices, quality systems, and audit readiness
Work under general direction with the opportunity to demonstrate leadership
Required Qualifications
Material Review Board (MRB) certification and relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of aerospace systems, component integration, and forensic failure analysis
Proficient in quality assurance practices and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
Ability to work onsite: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Preferred Experience
Expertise with Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., AS9100) and continuous improvement frameworks

Pay Details: $49.45 to $62.06 per hour
