RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall management responsibility for all off shift operations located at the Wickliffe facility
- Maintain a safe working environment and assure compliance with safety rules
- Management and coordination of all off shift operations and personnel
- Responsible for following up and implementing manufacturing methods improvement, productivity improvements and quality/scrap improvement as determined by area managers
- Coordination of staffing and personnel deployment decisions in all areas
- Coordination of daily manufacturing plans in all areas
- Coordinate efforts of all off shift personnel working through designated Supervisors and Leads to solve problems, improve quality, reduce scrap, increase capacity and reduce costs in all areas
- Interaction with SMP internal support organizations (i.e. engineering, maintenance, & quality) in connection with departmental initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Operations
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing Direct Supervision
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Fundamental understanding of product flow in all manufacturing areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Investment Casting industry preferred
