None/Not RequiredThis position is for an experienced operations professional, overseeing CORE/Continuous Improvement projects. Responsible for moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems and/or products to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do:
- With limited oversight, trains site CORE pilots, management and their respective teams on lean, continuous improvement, project management and business integration skill sets to enhance the capabilities of the team in reengineering initiatives.
- Leads small to medium transformation initiatives that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions focused on continuous improvement.
- Coaches operators on how to apply CORE tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while working to become a recognized CORE Practitioner.
- Leads small to medium CORE Site Assessments to enable CORE site and cell certifications.
- Oversees and manages the site level macroplan to ensure the team is progressing against the yearly improvement commitments.
- Some additional support with site level team building through Next Generation Teaming efforts may be required• Compiles potentially complex monthly CORE Performance Metrics that focus on organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the development of CORE training materials to ensure a successful CORE Certification Program.
- Develops and manages quality programs (e.g., CORE) to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods that adequately assure quality of an organizations products.
- Oversees internal CORE/lean trainings and facilitates CORE events.
- Ensures and enables CORE site & Cell certifications.
- Recommends process and procedural changes to ensure that company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
- Candidate should have experience with lean concepts and quality

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
