Contract Position

Responsibilities:
 - Conduct troubleshooting and repair of faults, failures, and deficiencies across Stryker vehicle platforms 
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants 
- Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems such as engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, exhaust, driveline, and suspension 
- Use Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), and technical documentation for fault isolation and diagnostics 
- Perform component-level repair and replacement of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using appropriate tools and manuals 
- Diagnose and correct issues in hydraulic systems, both common and variant-specific 
- Utilize Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), schematics, and flow diagrams to identify and resolve issues 
- Complete maintenance and administrative documentation related to work performed 
- Operate computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and diagnostics 
- Maintain inventory and accountability of special tools, test equipment, and property 
   
   
Qualifications:
 - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or technical certification preferred 
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of directly related vehicle maintenance experience 
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. person 
- Technical Skills: -    - Proficient in diagnosing and repairing power-pack systems (engine, transmission, etc.) 
- Understanding of turret systems, LRUs, and related acronyms 
- Ability to identify parts through IETMs, schematics, and configuration cross-referencing 
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and computer diagnostics 
 
- Military Systems: Knowledge of General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) products, military terminology, and standards preferred 
- Certifications: Documented trade school, certified technical training, or equivalent commercial training 
- Access Requirements: -    - Ability to meet ASR (Army Safety Requirements) 
- Must be able to gain and maintain access to military facilities 
- Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
