Reports ToManager, Creative Head - Copywriting
Role PurposeAccountable for ideating and providing copywriting for all Above-the-Line, Below-the-Line, Event, Interior Design, and Internal Communication projects.
Key Accountability- Write clear, compelling, and persuasive copy for different mediums such as ads, blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, and more.
- Conduct thorough research and interviews to gather relevant information and insights for impactful copy.
- Collaborate with creative professionals, including designers and spaneters, to develop and execute spaneting projects and campaigns.
- Create outlines and guidelines to provide structure and direction for each copywriting project.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high editorial standards.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain brand voice and tone across all written materials.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in copywriting and digital spaneting.
Qualifications & Working Experience- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or any related field with 3 - 5 years of working experience in related fields.
Areas of Experience- Experience creating compelling messages for different target demographics across multiple platforms (print, online, mobile, etc.). Crisis communication experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with various industries and ability to adapt writing style and tone accordingly.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
- Ability to be vocal and take ownership of campaigns.
- Proficient in word processing programs like MS Word or Google Docs, with experience in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
