The Role
The primary duty of the Flight Coordinator is to manage all logistics associated with the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of the company’s flights.  This position requires a basic knowledge of FAA regulations and an understanding of domestic and international aircraft operations.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task, in addition to a strong ethic of teamwork are required for consideration.
 
What is the schedule?
The schedule is comprised of alternating shifts (days one week, evenings the following week), with days off to be determined in the course of training for the position.
 
Is this a remote position?
This is not a remote position.  Candidates will report for duty at our Phoenix (Deer Valley) AZ office.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
 Monitor the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to final destination (flight following)
 Ensure all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight
 Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize actual/potential delays due to scheduling operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues
 Become proficient with ARINCDirect Flight Operations System (FOS)
 Confirm handling for aircraft at airports as scheduled
 Complete and send trip sheets to crew
 Complete flight releases
 Monitor flight crew duty limitations and rest requirements
 Arrange hotel rooms and rental cars for crew members
 Manage a high volume of continual email traffic while responding in a timely and professional manner
 Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements:
 At least 1 year of experience in charter operations or hold an FAA dispatcher license
 Must have ability to work a flexible schedule, this includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
 Strong organizational skills – detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and be proactive
 Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
 Ability to plan and prioritize workload and have excellent multi-tasking abilities
 Quality decision making skills
 Self-motivated and self-starter, proactive in learning and career development
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail
 Interpersonal and communication skills
 Teamwork and collaboration skills with a willingness to support the team to success
 Time management - meeting deadlines, managing workloads, ability to prioritize effectively
