Responsibilities:
 - Maintain, remove, and install aircraft avionics and electrical systems and related gear 
- Perform daily, pre/post-flight, and periodic inspections to meet Navy 4790.1 requirements 
- Conduct launch, recovery, and turnaround operations; perform Plane Captain duties 
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft systems to support upgrades or resolve faults 
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and correct faults 
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for diagnostics and validation 
- Perform validation/verification testing on systems and components 
- Document maintenance actions to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance 
- Inspect components to verify flight worthiness post-repair or modification 
- Support training and provide oversight of junior technicians 
- Prioritize product quality, compliance, and safety in all maintenance activities 
- Work under general direction with minimal supervision 
   
   
Qualifications:
 - High School diploma or GED (vocational school or Associate degree accepted) 
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
- 5+ years of military fighter aircraft maintenance experience 
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) 
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends 
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and work in outdoor environments with noise and fumes 
- 1+ year of experience reading/interpreting technical publications, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures 
Preferred Qualifications:
 - Hands-on experience with Fighter Avionics/Electrical Modifications 
- F/A-18 AT/AE qualifications highly preferred 
- Familiarity with Navy 4790.1 maintenance documentation standards
