Job overview and responsibilities
Representative is responsible for receiving bags at the warehouse, shelving, scanning and inventorying the bags – content must be entered in World Tracer. When performing tracing, Representative works with the passenger and their claim form to locate the missing bag. If found - bag is set up for shipment and delivery. Representative is also trained to work with left on board items – receiving boxes, researching in Charger back and setting up payments for delivery. Once a week, Representative loads the 18-wheeler with bags and boxes to be sent to salvage. This job requires attention to detail, high integrity, customer service skills and punctual attendance. Responsible for offshore training and support. This role offers individuals to work non-standard hours such as overtime to support peak volumes but does not require work on holidays. This role will also be on a team that supports the Central Baggage Tracing operation seven days a week.
- Manage left on-board property (high and low value)
- Receive/Analyze claims documents to process Tracing
- Inventory bags and look for matches
- Load 18-wheeler truck trailer for salvage
- Set up shipments of parcels and bags to customers and stations
- Communicate with passengers by e-mail, phone, text and in person
- Handle high value items on a daily basis
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs repeatedly
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree
- 1+ year of experience in logistics or airport operations or similar
- Knowledge of airport operations/ramp work preferred
The base pay range for this role is $40,565.00 to $52,884.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
