Sales Operations Specialist/Sr, Honeywell Aerospace About the role:As a Sales Operations Specialist/Sr professional for the Sales Excellence team in Aerospace Technologies at Honeywell India, you will play a critical role in driving demand generation through data-driven insights and develop analysis, tools, dashboards for sales pipeline, orders, sales incentives and other relevant metrics. We are looking for high-energy individuals who have strong commercial acumen, are familiar with Aerospace industry buying behaviours and are passionate about using data to identify actionable spanet insights. In addition, the individual work with cross functional stakeholders involving business unit, product owners and sales. The individual will follow defined sales processes, maintain data integrity across major sales tools.
Responsibilities: - Demand generation –
- Analyze the spanet size for each product/solution/platform, calculate penetration and identify whitespace for sales pursuit
- Coordinate with product owner, business unit and account managers for prioritization of identified whitespace; create opportunities
- Analyze inventory levels, strategic products and identify whitespace for further pursuit
- Data analysis –
- Extract data using SQL queries/ tool downloads
- Clean data to remove outliers and duplicate entries
- Model data to identify insights; cross check with primary data source for errors in insights identified
- Visualize data in executive-ready format (Excel, powerpoint, tableau, PowerBI)
- Present tool/analytics at review forums, make changes as required
- Collaborate with the Aerospace Technologies Sales Excellence, Sales, Sales Campaign and Pricing teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Ability & comfort to translate business questions/requirements into ad hoc scripts and analyses.
- Collect, interpret, analyze, and visualize data from various internal & external sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
- Ensuring scheduled automation jobs run and succeed every single day/week (Organization, Time Management)
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving data correctness and completeness to drive business efficiency.
- Debugging and or improving process steps to prevent recurring breakages or speed up workflows (Data Engineering, IT)
- Become familiar with various internal databases and tools and understand how we can tie them together and derive value (Eg: SAP, SFDC)

Qualifications
You must have:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business or related field
- 5-8 years’ experience in B2B sales or commercial functions like sales operations, pricing or finance
- Hands-on with enterprise tools like SFDC and SAP (contracts, pricing, order T codes)
- Excellence excel skills, including ability to build macros, work on Query
- Excellent data analytics and visualization skills in excel or power point; tableau knowledge is a plus
- Experience working in cross functional teams and/or cross-geography projects
- Intermediate proficiency of structured query languages (SQL) is a must
- Aerospace/Defense/Space/Industrials spanet Experience is a plus
- Strong business sense, strategic thinking & problem-solving capability
- Base out of Bangalore, India location on a hybrid (4 OFFICE -1 WFH) work schedule
